I know we are near the middle of the month but I still want to mention a few titles that are coming out this month and that I am very intrigued about! 🙂
Fantasy & Horror
The Djinn Falls in Love & Other Stories edited by Mahvesh Murad & Jared Shurin (March 14, Solaris)
This short story collection about djins has an amazing line-up, I mean Neil Gaiman, Nnedi Okorafor, Amal El-Mohtar, Usman Malik, Claire North to quote just a few. I was actually tempted to request it on Netgalley but even though I love reading short story collections, I really dislike reviewing them and since I am very lazy I know I am probably going to read it without doing an extremely detailed review.
13 Views of the Suicide Woods by Bracken MacLeod (March 16, ChiZine Publications)
Another short story collection. I haven’t read any Bracken MacLeod even if I heard good things about his books but since I much prefer to read horror in a short format, I think this collection would be a good way to give his works a shot!
Science Fiction
New York 2140 by Kim Stanley Robinson (March 14, Orbit)
I already have mixed feelings about this book, I mean I tend to love climate fiction and I really want to see KSR visions of the future. The idea of New York being under water is really interesting and I want to see how he is going to use the setting for his story. However, I finished Aurora a few days ago and I really didn’t like it so I am a bit afraid to give his other works a try.
I’ve been intrigued by the Wanderers and I hope you review it so I can decide whether or not to read it:-) I’m also dying to read the Luna books…one of these days!

For the Luna series, I would recommend starting it when it’s done because it has so many characters that it can be confusing to read them as they are released (I read New Moon in 2015 and I was very lost for the first 20% of Wolf Moon 😛 )

Thanks for the heads up about Bracken Macleod’s new book! I hadn’t heard about it, now its’ added. I really enjoyed his book Stranded.
I’m also looking forward to the Wanderers, I have the audiobook to review and I’m hoping to get to it soon.
And ahhh, Luna: Wolf Moon! So so so so so EXCITED!!!

Oh great, I am looking forward to your review! 😀
Yeah, I read it and it was very good even if I didn’t remember everything from the first book and I was a bit lost at first.

I also fancy the KSR book. The Moon books – does this conclude the story – is there just two books? If so I might jump on board with these soon. If there’s more to come I’m going to wait until the series concludes.

I would recommend waiting. I thought it was a duology but it is definitely not and since the cast of characters is really huge, it is tough to remember who’s who and reading them in a row would probably be way easier! 🙂

Eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new McDonald book too! (I even set myself an alert on the computer so I don’t miss it….).
I know how you feel about Stanley Robinson’s novel, indeed: I had issues with Red Mars some years ago, and I am of two minds about this one, although the core concept sounds fascinating!

Haha it’s worth the wait! 😉
Yes, I had high expectations when I went into Aurora because everyone was saying that it was the best SF book of 2015 and ugh, I really didn’t like it even if it did what it wanted to d extremely well. I don’t think I ever had that many mixed feelings about a book before! 😛

Gahhh I’m so excited for The Wanderers. I’ve heard so many good things about it and Tor has done a great job of hyping it up a lot on their blog. Can’t wait to get my hands on it.
The rest of these books sound fascinating. I can’t wait to read more reviews about them and see what you think.
